The sixth round of the 2025 WorldSSP Championship will be held between 13-15 June, at the long-established Misano World Circuit ‘Marco Simoncelli’, located near the Adriatic coast of Italy.
The 2025 season is the first in WorldSSP for both the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636 and Alcoba. Regular top ten finishes have already been achieved, with the season-best so far being fifth place in Race Two at Phillip Island. Jeremy is currently eighth in the championship, after scoring points in each of the ten races that have comprised the season so far.
His team’s latest home round provides an ideal opportunity for Jeremy to record his best performances of the year to date, especially as the Kawasaki WorldSSP Team left a recent two day test at Misano with some fast lap times recorded on the timesheets.
The weekend’s race action at Misano gets underway on Friday 13 June, with Superpole Qualifying being the climax of the early action. Saturday 14 June features the first 18-lap WorldSSP race, with Race Two held on Sunday 15 June.
At the end of the Misano event the half way point of the season will have been reached. The seventh round of the championship will take place at Donington Park in the UK, between 11-13 July.
Jeremy Alcoba stated: “The tests we completed at Misano were positive and this means we come to the track well prepared for the races. I’m really excited and think we can do very well. In testing we found a strong race pace, and I felt very comfortable aboard the ZX-6R 636. We have a good base and a lot of a data with which to begin the weekend. I really want to do as well as possible in front of the Italian fans, at what is my team’s home round.”
